FLOATING SHAPES is a temporary installation by the Heidelberg-based artist Julia Benz. As part of her painterly-abstract visual world, a section of Heidelberg‘s Haptstraße will be transformed into a colourful, artistically created space for a period of five weeks. The installation offers passers-by the opportunity to perceive art in their everyday surroundings and to thereby discover and actively perceive the city from a new perspective. Art, urban space and residents encounter each other in a different dimension.
The official opening will take place on Friday, 3rd of June 2022, at 8 p.m.:
Studio Julia Benz invites you to a joint reception of the art installation during a walk along the Hauptstraße. Afterwards, we look forward to getting into conversation with you about impressions and sensations gained during a casual get-together at the Marktplatz.

The joint walk begins at Hauptstraße 110/113 and ends at the Marktplatz in front of the Heiliggeistkirche
